The TerraSAR-X Basic Image Products are described by the following characteristics:

Depending on the desired application, these image characteristics can be individually combined through the data order. The TerraSAR-X Basic Image Products are available in CEOS Level 1B quality on various storage media.

TerraSAR-X images can not only be used for visual interpretation and mapping similar to optical data, but can certainly be analysed with radar specific automated or semi-automated interpretation processes. Algorithms, software and consulting are available through Infoterra GmbH.
