ImStrat Corporation provides a complete range of Geospatial Intelligence Analysis training course programs. These programs are considered the most in-depth and professional imagery based training courses on the world market today.
All of the courses listed are "on the shelf" and available immediately. Nonetheless, all of ImStrat's courses are updated on a continuous basis with the latest analytical methodologies and highest resolution imagery datasets. In addition, new courses are developed on a regular basis.
Students attending any of ImStrat's courses will be ensured that they will not just walk away with knowledge, but also with an effective skill set which can quickly be employed back at their respective organizations.
Training is conducted either at ImStrat's Geospatial Intelligence Training Centre just outside of Ottawa, Canada in Carleton Place, Ontario, Canada, or instructors can be deployed to the clients' on-site location.
Please be advised that some courses require extensive software and hardware support, plus multiple instructors for long duration courses. Therefore, some courses can only be offered at ImStrat's GEOINT Training Centre. Please contact ImStrat's training group for further information.
ImStrat Training Philosophy
All courses have been carefully created which meets ImStrat's strict standards. Each course block and program consists of a balance of 40% classroom lectures and 60% hands-on softcopy analysis of imagery data. Thereby ensuring students receive the proper balance of theoretical knowledge and practical hands-on training and experience.
ImStrat has a very large Geospatial Data archive of high resolution optical and radar imagery from around the world. Students will be exposed to using imagery data of very diverse locations during lectures and hands-on exercises. It is rare for students to look at the same place twice. This ensures students analyze imagery they would not normally look at back at their respective organizations. However, clients do have the option of requesting imagery over their areas of interest to integrate within one of the selected courses. Pre-development is required in order to fulfill this request.
The primary imagery sources used for the Geospatial Intelligence Training Support Programs are:
1. DigitalGlobe's QuickBird
2. TerraSAR- X 3. Intermap's Star3i X-band SAR imagery
4. UAV collected data
All courses are conducted in a digital softcopy environment using the latest imagery intelligence software applications such as RemoteView Professional and Terrasight, at ImStrat's training facility or at the clients' location.
